Welcome to the new blog for Light Connexions!
We will be using this blog to collate ideas prior to our meetings every Sundays and this blog will help us post our ideas quickly and work on them so as to get the 2007 calendars sorted out on time.
Having 52 Sundays in 2007, we intend to have planned all our Sundays between now and December 31st.
Please use this blog to post your ideas for programmes. Your ideas can be about your passion or just any issue you feel is not generally addressed and will benefits Youths in the Church and our community.
E.g. Communicating with God Seminar, Business & Entrepreneurship Seminar etc
Also feel free to start a new thread.
I will be posting my ideas from tommorrow so watch out.

Idea 1
Program Title: Seeking God seminar:
This seminar will be about how we young people can seek God, teach the basics truths about God and how relationship with Him can be built or improved.
Program requirements: To be hosted by Pastor Fred & Sis Eniola. I suggest we invite guest ministers like Pastor Andrew, Pastor J John, Inhouse Deacons like Deacon Tayo Daramola, Deacon Niyi Eboda and other ministers.
Date: I suggest the 1st 4 sundays of the year because of the obvious reason which is starting with GOD. And I think it is quite important to seek Him while He is nigh and even most Christains don't have the effective relationship with GOD they utterly crave for.
Please feel free to comment because these are just suggestions which will inturn become solid Programs.

Program Title: Get rid of the spirit of lastminute.com:
Is it not amazing how we start a project 1 day to the deadline and we still manage to come out with a decent project? For students maybe a decent grade like C. Hasn't it ever occured to you that if you have put in the same amount of zeal from an earlier time you might have gotten an A?
My conclusion is this; our brain is very powerful and every person is smarter than what they think they are.
This seminar will aim to tackle the causes of procrastination, teach people how to organise thier lives better and the secret to a successful life.
Why? It is proven that procrastination increases anxiety, stress and poerformance level of a person and also confidence level. With this program we will seek to tackle this problem and get people to become more organised, better people, more confident etc.
Program requirements: To be hosted by Pastor Fred and Sis Eniola.
Invite inhouse members to teach on how to organise life, like Ope Ajayi, Sis Kemi Ojo, Deacon Cyril Emuh and also other professionals in the field.
Date: To be later suggested but preferrably in February.
At least we can have peace nad confidence to succeed.
I like the idea cos this is a problem most people have.We should just always try to get the best possible people to host the program.Also we should pray more,see what prayers did to the choir,it can also do great things to the youths dept.I pray that God helps us and give us the passion and zeal needed
